We believe the Word of Faith, the Holy Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and represents His plan for us. The Word is to be the foundation of our lives. (1 Tim. 3:16, John 1:1-4; Rom. 10:8; Matt. 7:24-27) We believe in one God - being the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who has created all things. (John 10:30; Genesis 1:26; Phil. 2:6; Matt. 28:19-20; John 20:22; John 1:3) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, was crucified, died on a cross and then buried, descended into hell and defeated Satan, was resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. (Matt. 1:18-23; John 19:17 - 20:31 Luke 24:6; Mark 16:19; Col. 2:15) We believe that salvation comes only to believers who accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, through the blood shed of Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, 14:6; Rom. 10:9-10, 6:23) We believe that healing through faith is included in the redemption that Jesus Christ provided for us. (Isa. 53:5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24) We believe in water baptism, and the baptism in the Holy Spirit besides the new birth, with the evidence of speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance, in the gifts of the Spirit, and also the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to every believer. (Acts 2:2-4, 38-39; 2 Cor. 12; Gal. 5:22-23; Eph. 1:3) We believe that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to dwell and empower us to be witnesses unto Him so that we can further the Gospel to all nations and people in accordance with the Great Commission. (Mark 16:15; Matt. 28:19, 10:7-8, 24:14; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:20) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will be returning soon. (Matt. 24; Mark 13; 2 Peter 3:8) |
